SAVE THE DATE: Joe Mellon, our Sacristan of St. Joseph’s, Castletown will be retiring this year after 25 years. Mass will be celebrated by Archbishop Eamon Martin on Monday evening 29th July at 7pm in St. Joseph’s Church, who will presenting him with the St. Patrick’s Medal for his years of service. All welcome.
MEMORIAL MASS: For Fr. Martin Kenny and for all those who have lost loved ones by suicide to be offered on Monday 27th May @ 6.00pm at St. Josephs Church, Castletown. All are Welcome.
CAMINO 2024: Fr. Vinod will walk the Camino Primitive in 12 days commencing August 1st to raise funds for the upgrade of the Church carpark and the graveyard pathways at St. Joseph’s Castletown.
ANNUAL NOVENA IN HONOUR OF SAINT JUDE: Calvary Omeath, The Rosminian Fathers. From Sunday 2nd June 2024 to Sunday 9th June 2024. Mass each evening at 7.00pm. Healing Mass on Sunday 9th June @ 7.00pm. This year the celebrants are Fr. Oliver Stansfield I.C and Fr. Wilhad Shayo.
SR BRIEGE MCKENNA’S AND FR. PABLO VISIT 16TH/17TH AUGUST 24.The Parish of Faughart is delighted to announce the following schedule for the visit: Evening Session: Fri 16th Faughart Shrine 7-9pm, Mass & open talk. Morning Session: Sat 17th St Joseph’s Church, Castletown, 10am Mass. 11.30-12.30 Talk. Afternoon Session: St Josephs Church, Castletown. 2.30-4.30pm Talk followed by Eucharistic Healing Service.
Missionary Sisters of Our Lady of Apostles: to our Parish on 1st/2nd of June, to promote Mission Awareness at all Masses. The Sisters of Our Lady of Apostles were founded in 1876 as a group of international women religious dedicated to spreading the Good News through service and witness of their lives. Promoting women and the marginalized is a priority in their apostolate. The OLA Sisters are grateful for all the support over the years in so many ways, and they encourage you to continue in that support. Sr. Mary Usifoh would be speaking during the Masses and there will be a second collection after communion.
ARMAGH DIOCESAN PILRIMAGE: Return from Lourdes last week-end although weather not so favourable everyone enjoyed the Lourdes experience. Re-union for all those who travelled on the Pilgrimage on Tuesday28th May @ 8pm in the Resource Centre.
