Lenten Prayer Group Create a space in your busy life by joining the Lenten Prayer Group to prepare for Easter.  The Sunday readings will be discussed and reflected on.  All welcome.  First meeting was held on Thursday 15^th February at 7p.m.  in St. Joseph’s Church Fatima.

St. Bridget’s Prayer Meeting Tuesday 20^th at 7p.m.  All welcome.

Parish Choir Practice for Confirmation takes place on Tuesday night at 7p.m. in St. Bridget’s Church, Kilcurry.  All choir members please attend.

Roche Emmets Ladies hold their AGM this Sunday the 18^th in the clubrooms at 6:30p.m.   We invite any local persons to become members and get involved in our club activities.  All parents, players, mentors, club officers  and committee are asked to attend.

Craft nights on Tuesday ‘s in Resource Centre 7:30p.m. to 9p.m.  Join us for craft, craic and cuppa.  At the minute we are doing knitting, crochet, patchwork and embroidery but every craft is welcome.

8^th Amendment Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Revival Group plan to hold a public Rosary at 3p.m. at the Market Square, Dundalk every Saturday between now and the upcoming referendum,  for the Defence of the 8^th   Amendment and protection for unborn children,   all welcome.

Next weekend a second collection will be taken up after communion for the World Meeting of Families.

Mass for Lent every Monday at 9a.m. in St. Bridget’s Church, Kilcurry.

Stations of the Cross every Sunday evening during Lent 5p.m. at Faughart Shrine.

Eucharist Minister Training/Refreshers Course on Thursday 22^nd February in Parochial House at 7:30p.m.  Can all Ministers please attend and if you are interested in becoming one please contact the Parochial House.

Trocaire Boxes are available in all Churches in the Parish,  please take one home and give as generously as you can.

ST BRIGID’S DAY  –  Mass  in preparation for St Brigid’s day on Tuesday, 30^th January at the Shrine at 7.30 p.m.   Wednesday, 31^st January at the Shrine at 7.30 p.m.  St Brigid’s Day  –  mass at Shrine at 10.00 a.m.  Annual torch light procession takes place on Thursday, the Feast Day, at 8.00 p.m. on Faughart Hill.  Please assemble at Faughart Hill at 7.45 p.m.  As parking on the hill is very limited please leave cars at Shrine car park.  Procession will be held regardless of weather.  We would appreciate if more volunteers in bright jackets would come to help organise the walkers from “hill to shrine”.

ARMAGH DIOCESAN PILGRIMAGE TO LOURDES  –  12^th to 17^th May, 2018.  Faughart Lourdes Committee has been allocated a limited number of places on the above Pilgrimage.  Applications are invited from all those who wish to travel.  Assisted pilgrims wishing to travel must complete a medical application form with their own Doctor which will be forwarded to the Medical Director of the Pilgrimage.  All application forms and full details may be obtained from the Priests of the Parish and Committee Members.  Any new people wishing to travel to Lourdes as helpers would be greatly appreciated.

CRAFT NIGHT on Tuesdays in the Resource Centre 7.30 to 9.00 p.m.  Join us for craic and cuppa.  Everybody welcome.

FAUGHART SOCIAL GROUP meets on Monday next, 29^th January at 7.30 p.m.  We are arranging day trips and take names for break to Wexford on 15^th April, 2018.
